The Long Day of the Modern is the personal website of Zachariah Ezer, a Brooklyn-based dramatist, content creator, and musician. As a playwright, his plays “Time to A Phantom” and “Black Prometheus” have been performed in New York City, Washington DC, and Houston, Texas. As an essayist, Zachariah has been published by Gizmodo/io9, HuffPost, and Bubbleblabber, among other publications. As a performer, Zachariah is one-third of alternative rock band Harper’s Landing. Zachariah is an honors graduate of Wesleyan University, where he majored in Philosophy and received the Olin fellowship.
