The Long Day of the Modern is the personal website of Zachariah Ezer, a Brooklyn-based dramatist, content creator, and musician. As a playwright, his work has been developed by The National Black Theatre, The Tank, BUFU, and Ruthless Nightingale and performed in New York City, Washington DC, and Houston, Texas. As an essayist, Zachariah has been published by Gizmodo/io9, HuffPost, and Bubbleblabber, among other publications. As a performer, Zachariah is one-third of alternative rock band Harper’s Landing. Zachariah is an honors graduate of Wesleyan University, where he majored in Philosophy and received the Olin fellowship.
